Since the outbreak of Covid-19 earlier this year, the central counterparties clearing mechanism (CCPs), as part of the financial market infrastructure, has obtained new experiences and carried out new research regarding business continuity, response to extreme market situations, liquidity arrangement for clearing house members (especially commercial banks), implementation of supporting policies, and coordination of cross-border supervision. In this context, what are the opportunities and challenges facing the expansion of CCPs? How to strengthen and improve risk management? What are the new developments in CCPs regulatory policies and cross-border regulatory coordination that deserve attention? To further explore these issues, we have organized this online seminar themed "Development and Regulation of Central Counterparties in the Context of Covid-19". You are cordially invited to participate in the discussion.
